Stage 02 of Construction Commences on Heritage Listed Terrace @ 13 Bourke St Woolloomooloo

Construction has commenced of Stage 2 of major alterations and additions to a heritage listed 1880′s terrace house at 13 Bourke St Woolloomooloo.  The owner/builder will remain  living in the home during the construction works which has been a challenge but they are managing to survive by with use a temporary kitchen whilst the works go on around them. One the 1st floor the addition involves an additional  bedroom with large rear deck, new bathroom with an free standing bath, connected with a glass link to a new larger open living area, whilst on the ground floor; the alterations include a new kitchen designed and detailed by our firm and new garage with glass rood over and court yard opening up from the kitchen to allow seamless indoor/outdoor living.  The design intent was to introduce as much natural light as possible into the traditional terrace building.
