Stage 02 of Construction Commences on Heritage Listed Terrace @ 13 Bourke St Woolloomooloo

Construction has commenced of Stage 2 of major alterations and additions to a heritage listed 1880′s terrace house at 13 Bourke St Woolloomooloo.  The owner/builder will remain  living in the home during the construction works which has been a challenge but they are managing to survive by with use a temporary kitchen whilst the works go on around them. One the 1^st floor the addition involves an additional  bedroom with large rear deck, new bathroom with an free standing bath, connected with a glass link to a new larger open living area, whilst on the ground floor; the alterations include a new kitchen designed and detailed by our firm and new garage with glass rood over and court yard opening up from the kitchen to allow seamless indoor/outdoor living.  The design intent was to introduce as much natural light as possible into the traditional terrace building.
