Architect Designed Home Under Construction

We visited site this morning to see this new contemporary house designed by McCullum Ashby Architects well under way. The owner/builder was working hard using a truck crane to place materials. He said that the site was more difficult than he initially expected as he encountered a large amount of rock which need to be removed from the site (equivalent in volume to a small home). However he is almost up to the 1st floor which will allow him to accelerate the construction program as the upper levels are steel and timber framed with metal clad walls.
