Wahroonga Project update
McCullum Ashby Architects recently completed our architectural documentation for alterations and additions to an iconic Café in Wahroonga which was up until recently one of our locals. The building is situated on a narrow lot in a heritage listed building.
The proposal looks to reinvigorate the café on the ground floor as an open-air space with alfresco dining to the rear. The basement level will be reformed to include car parking and on-site storerooms for the café. The upper floor will become two separable commercial tenancies ample natural light.
As part of our engaged architectural services, McCullum Ashby prepared the initial conceptual design, obtained Development Application approval, lodged the Construction Certificate and has since called for tenders for the construction works. We can’t wait to see work start on site.
