PRATURLON HOUSE
This property contained an existing modest post-war dwelling and several substantial trees including an Atlantic Cedar that occupied much of the front yard of this shallow lot. As the home was located at the rear of the property, the architectural design required that we extend forward which is generally discouraged for houses in a heritage conservation area. The architectural design activates the house façade, introducing volume to the central living space which forms the new heart of the home. The proposed architectural style is Hampdens inspired with white timber detailing and north facing glazing.
Our engaged services extended to preparing the concept design, architectural documentation and project management of the consultancy team for the Development Application.
