The subject site is a battle-axe allotment proximate to Walter Burley Griffin heritage listed home. The property also shared distant views of the city including views from neighbouring lots across the site.The proposed design is for utilises a centrally lowered roof form to maintain neighbourly views. The materiality of the project mixes glass, metal and stone cladding to form a contemporary urban estate.The resulting 5 bedroom (each with ensuite) and quadruple living Killara house embraces the north easterly aspect of the site and includes swimming pool plus a full-size tennis court on the southern side.
