ABEY HOUSE

The client brief was to extend an existing Federation cottage on this Warrawee property. The resulting architectural design encompassed a sympathetic extension to the rear of the house which included four new bedrooms plus a light filled contemporary living pavilion. The new pavilion utilised the traditional building materials of weatherboards and metal roofing and reinterpreted them so that they stand as a juxtaposition to the modest original traditional cottage.
