WAHROONGA TOWNHOUSES

The Wahroonga Townhouses are located behind the award-winning heritage listed Rothiemay House. The viability of the conservation of Rothiemay was predicated on the heritage conservation incentives within the Ku-ring-gaiĀ  Local Environmental Plan (LEP) which permitted development of part of the land that would otherwise not have been permissible. The proposed multi-dwelling housing is located on a battle-axe community subdivision and are not visible from the street. The architectural design utilises contemporary forms and materials such as metal standing seam cladding and timber panelling and is an intentional juxtaposition to the conservative styling of Rothiemay. The six dwellings are internally spacious with two storey voids opening up to views to theĀ  Sydney Blue Gum High Forest to the north.

Our engaged services extended to preparing the concept design, architectural documentation and project management of the consultancy team for the Development Application, Construction Documentation and site attendance during construction.
