The subject site is 5,402m² in size and located within the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital precinct as well as in close proximity to Westfield shopping centre.The client’s brief was to provide a seniors housing development. The proposed contemporary development proposes twenty-two townhouses over a common basement.The architectural typology was contemporary in keeping with the more recent developments within the precinct. Each dwelling design was modular with low maintenance private courtyards. The upper storey was demarcated from the lower with feature metal clad massing.
