How do the NSW planning changes affect you?
Late last year, the NSW Government announced wide sweeping changes to create new low-rise and mid-rise housing in NSW.
The proposed reforms seek to:
• Allow dual occupancies in all R2 low density residential zones across NSW.
• Allow terraces, townhouses and 2 storey apartment blocks near transport hubs and town centres in R2 residential zones.
• Allow mid-rise apartment blocks near transport hubs and town centres in R3 zones.
These changes have the potential reshape our built environment particularly in the Ku-ring-gai Council area.
