Sailing Accross the Atlantic

Christian will be taking extended annual leave to compete in a sailing race across the Atlantic Ocean.

The event which he is competing in  is called ARC (without the +) which starts on the 24th Nov in the Canary Islands (Spain) and heads to St Lucia (in the Caribbean) arriving around 10th-16th Dec.   The boat’s name is Free Spirit skippered by Alistair Jeffery  from the UK  (there are 2 boats with the same name).

If you interested to see how he progresses in the event you can click on this link below which shows a live GPS tracker of the yachts location.  Another race called the ARC+ recently started on the 5th of November so you can already view boats moving down the west coast of Africa before heading across the Atlantic.
